Hopefully this isnt too unusual of a request. Was wondering if some of you could post images of your dogs front teeth. Sarge is 8 months and his lower front teeth seem to be crooked, jagged looking ,and not all the same length. Hubby says it looks as though he has worn them down from all the chewing on bones. Which he does chew alot on hooves and compressed rawhides.

I tried googling for images but havnt found any images of just the front teeth.

Thanks

Can you get some clear photos for us to look at, with the bite closed and open?

I know you want to compare your dog's teeth with others, but it would give us an idea of things, if we could see your dog's teeth as well.

Could it be that your dog's tooth enamal has worn off and causing the teeth to wear quicker? In some cases medications as a young pup or wrong nutrition can cause issue with the enamal.

Wow, that was a fun exercise. Tell the truth wdozier, you just wanted to have a good laugh at the thought of all of us prying open our dog's mouths to take pictures

My first attempt. Hmmmm...he was bit wriggly

Hope this one helps - The dog is 1 yr

If you want to see really worn down front teeth. These are shots of my Boyfriend's 6-year-old Golden R. They were taken a few months ago after the dog had dental surgery (for something else). The vet actually wanted to pull all the lower front teeth because they were so worn down, but we said no. We'll just watch them carefully and make certain they're kept clean.

Thanks for those photos.  London,  my boys front lower teeth look like that too  so i guess were ok. I will also take some photos to put on here.  I appreciate you going through the effort to get those  photos. I was concerned that his teeth were messed up from chewing so much.
