in a couple of weeks i'll be getting a male pup from a repeat breeding of SG Balco vom Konigswolf x SG Iska vom Kapbusch here's the ped http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/545061.html (this is a dog from the first litter)
i feel very good about his pedigree but that's all it is - a feeling so i was wonder what others thought of it. given this ped what could i expect? looks like strong, intelligent and trainable lines but i honestly don't know anything about pedigrees beyond what has been posted here so i'd really appreciate any input. i want him to be a well rounded dog so any thoughts on early training/imprinting would also appreciated (btw i have no plans to do sch or pp but will be doing some assistance dog training with him)
many thanks,
susan

thanks for the replies. i'm really looking forward to the pup. he should be fun to work with. i've been running searches and reading through the threads about imprinting, tracking with puppies, games to play, early training ... i think this breeding should produce above average intelligence - which is what i'm hoping for - and i want to really focus on developing his ability to think. i figure imprinting tracking would be a good place to start and of course lots and lots of play. again thanks for the commends. - susan
