This might be a stupid question, but here goes. Do dogs sometimes drool in their sleep like humans do? When I got up this morning I stepped in a small wet spot at the foot of the bed. It was not urine, no color, and no smell.

I knew a dachshund that was deformed in his jaw, and he couldn't fit his tongue in his mouth. If this dog sat next to you with that tongue, there would be wet spot the size of a basketball!

I bought the family of the dachshund a doormat that said, "BEWARE OF DOG,  DOG CAN"T HOLD ITS LICKER."
