Probably ok but positioning is not ideal.

Hips look OK but position is not good at all. The knees need to be turned in facing up and the legs should run parallel with the spine. I would not send in this hip x-ray, I would ask for it to be taken over.

Elbows are  not clear enough either, ask your vet to rexray both.

Positioning is not correct for reasons mentioned above. If it were my dog I wouldn't send those films in. If your vet can't shoot films correctly I'd take the dog to someone who can.

I think the hips look great but  do not send them in .OFA says they will kick them back but they will not and you will get a poor rating. The legs need to be straight with the legs rotated in

I questioned the vet when at the office( not the one that shot films but partner) as the vet who took films was in surgery when I came in.  I said aren't the legs supposed to be parallel  with patellas on top. She replied" No the patellas are to be turned outward ? "    HUH?
So I called OFA and spoke directly with Dr. Keller. He said yes parallel legs patellas up . So I emailed these photos to him and he agreed to have a look at them on email ust as you are seeing them and tell me if the positioning is incorrect enough for a redo. This was just before closing time at OFA and he will get back with me tomorrow. Hopefully he will agree and say reshoot films and explain why and I will go right to the vet with "HIS' email as ammunition to reshoot.
Geez what is the deal with the vets and xray positioning? It shows right on the back of the form you send to OFA how to position them.....

Results from OFA on these same xrays

Hips OFA GOOD

Elbows  NORMAL

I did speak with my vet and she said if OFA didn't pass them due to positioning she would reshoot them.

Not necessary      YEAH!!!
