I'm thinking of switching from Redpaw and Wellness to Evolve. Are any of you feeding Evolve and if the fugged up economy is making you switch brands, wich ones do you find reasonably priced but still decent in quality?

ALL the premium brands are, let's face it, overpriced. But, my dogs deserve the best I can get. Platinum has been very good for them, but, as there is no local distributer, at $33 for an eleven lb bag, plus shipping, it is a bit much. I am switching "back" to Addiction (kangaroo and apple) with TOTW as the "stretcher."

Thanks Nia, I'm a little slow - what is TOTW? And where do you buy addiction?

I was also looking into Merrick again, tried the can food on the dogs and they went crazy for it, but its almost three dollars a can.

GoldenElk,  TOTW is Taste of the Wild. My Huskies eat it. One of them eats the one with Salmon, the male eats the one with Bison in it.  It's $42 for 30 lbs. The Bison has more protein in it though so I wouldn't feed it to a young dog or pup who is growing a lot.

Thank you. Did a quick search and I'm finding pretty good prices on TOTW - shipping is the killer though, I'll see if I can find it local but I'd love to find an online shop with flat shipping, or better yet, free shipping if you buy a certain amount...any leads?

This personally doesn't include me .. but I find it quite odd how we can't afford to feed healthy foods to our dogs, yet the new Admin is, just as I type this, planning on a 1 Trillion plus spending bill of money from our future children and childrens children. Can't you see .... our children and childrens children wouldn't be able to afford healthy food for themselves. This is NOT the way it's supposed to be here in America. We need to save the "Dollar" people !!!!

You people need to stop bitching on this forum, and call your Represenitives ASAP.

Because I know if America is pushed, it will defend it's self.

I know we could do this peacefully, if not, America's doing down trying. By God !!

Beautiful day in America today naw isn't it ? Think of the children, not our dogs for once. Or am I stupid ?

It's no wonder they allow abortion, who gives a Phuck, Right ?

...alrighty then. I thought this was a DOG FORUM, which is why the matters of interest run to all things DOG., but your emphatic belief that the site is meant for other purposes is duely noted.

But as I was saying, any good websites you all could recommend would be appreciated. Thank you.

So far I'm feeding Innova Evo, Natural Balance Venison and Potatoe, and a local commercially prepared raw.  I'm not planning on switching the foods but I am going to try and expand the raw using things I buy myself as well as sort the freezers.
