Ok so I have seen 100 point obedience. Does anyone have 100 point protection and tracking. I have to have a goal:)

If you have not seen this check it out. One of the greats. 100 point OB

that was a nice video smart guy but in todays competition and the rules of training currently this wouldn't have been 100 points. It was a high scoring routine now but under the rules now it wouldn't would be close to 100.. blacky was a super nice working dog. there were about 5 100 point tracking routines in the last 2 weeks here in the states...southwest region just had 3 today.. i hope there is some video.

Blacky was one of the best in B-phase... I had a German judge tell me the best he has ever judged was Troll vh Milinda at the interland championships.. He said even better than Blacky, who until then had been the best he seen.. I wonder what he will say about Javir and how he performed this year at the BSP and the WUSV..

A 100 track is for sure within anyones grasp.. You don't need a helper to get out there, you don't have to rely on anyone but yourself.. You just need plenty of land, and put the time in...  The best track score I think I've had was a 99 with Valcko and a 98 with Xena.. Guess I need to get out there and get me a 100...

I'm curious - what faults did you score in Blacky's performance?

I have myself scored 198 1/2 in AKC open and utility OB, which is a 99 equivalent, but no A frame.  I thought Black was a little loose in a few places,  but is that what makes you think this would score much lower today?

There are a lot of 100 point tracks out there. My older guy scored a 98, 99 his SchH2 track was 90 because he missed 1 article otherwise it was 100. 10 points an article. So close lol

At the time Blacky competed most dogs were under heavy stress to be correct. He raised the bar and probably is the sire of the word FREE in obedience, He was the trend setter that Javir is now carrying the torch. Beautiful and inspiring when seen.

Beautiful routine, haven't watched that in a couple years.

There were several slow sits with him.. it gets a bit outof control after the retrieves over the jump and wall. One mistake that the handler made was the amount of steps he took on the send out. i counted only 5. if you look at the video closely again you will see several times that the handler gave body motions to get in back in place. Again great routine but not 100 points in today's standards.
