They have a dog that I am interested in and although I am very reluctant to get a dog outside of the US I still would consider it if enough people had postive things to say about the kennel and how they do business.

You are playing with fire because you have no clue about whether they are or are not reputable. Further, they are in a foreign country. What will you do when something goes wrong? They don't send the dog you paid for, you don't get papers etc. This kennel may be absolutely legit but few Americans buy from Italian breeders. Do they speak excellent English? Do you speak excellent Italian? If not,  as I said, you are playing with fire.

If one has no idea who they are, one should probably stick to buying a dog in the U.S. where, at least, you may have some recourse. You are new here. Want to know how many others have come here complaining after the fact when things went wrong and they themselves had done business when they should not have?

There are some excellent kennels in the US where you would be much better off.

I vould like to know why you are saying that I am not a reputable gsd breeder????
Have you never bought a dog from my kennel ? have you neve met me or my staff??Probably you can only work with dogs rescue!!
You have to know that in my life I worked with a lot of breeders and the problems are growing up always with the people like you that can't pay the right price for the right dog!!!
Be Carefull We use to come to the siegershow also in Us so if you want to get more and correct informations about us you can ask for me.......
I don't know who you are but I can discover ....How you can talk about people that you don't know????

Marco,

If you carefully read what I wrote, I wrote NOTHING bad about your kennel. I could not write something bad or GOOD because I don't know you.

However, I told the original poster that she/he does not know what they are doing and that spells trouble. And it could be trouble for you as well when that person buys a dog and then comes here and writes they are not happy with the dog.

IF you read again what I said you see I said nothing about whether your kennel is good or bad, reputable or dishonest. Buying a dog, even in the US can spell trouble. Buying a dog in a foreign country, especially when you don't know the people or what you are getting into, do not speak their language fluently or they yours, or have no idea about all the possible problems that can arise, one is playing with fire. That is not defamation, but I forgive your not understanding that because English is not your native language.

Practically daily we see here people coming and complaining and crying about a dog deal gone bad. They pay money for a dog and don't get the dog, or get a different dog, or don't get papers, and on and on and on. Why take that chance when you are new and have no idea what you are doing or with whom you are dealing? My advice was simply in a nutshell, to think about it and do one's homework.
