So I was browing ads and websites and came across this guy : www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/519603.html  I am quite surprised he is not V rated, he's incredibly well put together. My first GSD was a Yoschy grandson, but I'll admit I know very little about working lines. Is his pedigree good, and is his structure indicative of that line?  I'd like to start learning a bit more about working lines that consistently produce V dogs.  Hell, I know dogs from "top" showlines that aren't put together as nice as this dog.

He is not listed as being KKl- can't get V without a breed survey - could be why he is "only SG".

That's true, I see he's only about 21 months. Silly me. I see a V in his future.

Aerry schwarzen Troll is one of the best looking dogs around, his conformation is equal to most showlines, his color is phenomenal and he produces his looks, he is used alot in Germany.

I think most knowledgeable people already know that there are some stunning WL dogs, i certainly know of many, the comment above ie. "UGLY" shows the stupid ignorant comments of one who knows very little of ANY lines. liz

Gershep, you are right. That's what I get for posting late at night when my brain is fried.

Can anyone tell me about the work ethic and nerve of these lines?

He most likely got his SG-rating before he was 2 years old as a show rating for the breed survey. Some people don't care if the dog receives a V-rating or not. Or maybe, the owners will show him this spring. He is available at stud and owner is the Döllenwiese Kennel.
But I can also tell you fromm personal experience that photos can be very deceiving and should not be relied upon. Rather see a dog in person or ask other people who have seen him about their opinion.
