I have kelpie x, he was desexed at 6 months and is now 1.
I am a little concered as since he was desexed, we often see his penis poking out a little. Is this normal?

We most notice it we are teaching him tricks and giving him treats or when he is laying down and resting.

He's a boy what can I say. A very happy boy from the sounds of it. You'll sometimes hear the expression that his lipstick is showing.  Also know the fact that he shoots blanks doesn't prevent him from mating or being interested in a bitch in heat.

Yea, their "lipsticks" can still stick out.   :)

And yes he can still be interested in females and still be fully functional!  Just can't get her pregnant.   I had a neutered mixed breed tie with my older girl a few years back.

Some boys are just "happier" than others.   LOL
