I am looking to purchase a dark sable GSD who just turned 9 months old. Both ears are fully erect, however his right ear is slanted in toward his head. I was wondering if anyone has any knowledge, information or opinions on this. Will his ear stay this way? Have you ever heard of this being the case on an 8 or 9 month old pup? I appreciate any input on this. Thank you very much.

Yeah I have, it should come all the way up, but of course there is also a chance it might not. Does it really matter? What is his pedigree? What are you getting him for? Has nothing to do with the ear, but the dog is way too fat.

Here is link to his pedigree. He is for companionship and alert, of course when he is older.

What a sweetie... seems very calm and alert...
If you're not purchasing him for future breeding the ear's a non issue... He seems like a sweet pup you'll have a lot of fun with, he is old enough you might want them to do a pelim x-ray (just to be sure that's not why they're parting with him)

If that is the dog you are getting, I say, CAPITAL," F" the ears,! That is a GORGEOUS dog there. The Pedigree ain't to shabby either. if you are not planning to win "best of show" with him, GRAB HIM. His looks alone will stop someone in their tracks(would me).
Even if you planned to breed him down the road, bred with the right female, there, more than likely, would not be a problem.
I have a beautiful female, excellant bloodline, whose ears look like they are "blowing in the wind".
