hello, all gsd lovers in india.
i went through so many gsd's pedigree and comments given on perticular dogs which belongs to india!
i found one comman thing that so many have critised others dogs without knwoing anything! how can one give comments only by seeing pictrure of the dog!
gsd is a trotting dog! a good dog should have far reaching enduring trot, good pigmentation, nice anatomy plus to be a truely good dog he must pass courage test, trotting test, hips certified and so many other things if you go thourgh rules and regulations!
and yes, i saw some really bad words and rude language used while writing the comments! this is just because of your differnce of opinions!
i have seen a good gsd showed at the all breed show got "BOB" in one ring and at same day he got nothing in second ring , not even he became his class winner!
so, the dog was same but, it was only judge's preferance!!!
i know that no dog's or human's anatomy is perfect! even if you observe top "VA" rated dogs in germany, has few faults if you check by breed standard.
and by writing bad words indian gsd lovers are spoiling their coutry's name!
so, i request not to use bad words while writing comments!
this way we can never improve gsd standard in india! and to breed a good gsd in india is labour! you may have a litter of 6 puppies looking worse even if both the parents are good! so, one can never gurantee or just blaim the kennel or breeder!
plus bad rearing of puppy also makes big difference! some owners not know how different gsd from other breeds! and proper diet, exercise, care. grooming makes differance whilr raising gsd puppy!
so, there are different aspects!

hi, bowwow.
u r right! people should not write bad words !
but, i must say that comments should be according to breed standard and not according to yr personal choices!
i agree that only looking at the pic one can never judge the dog exactly!
and people know how to use PHOTOSHOP software well! so, pic can be made good anyhow!

for example:- IGOR vom ROMMELSBACH  indian sieger 2009 got some really worse comments! and more than this dog, the person who brought him to india got really really bad comments! as per my knowledge he is dedicated to gsd breeding for more than two decades now! and whoever the person is, one should never use bad language to put anyone's name down! this would be insult of that person and more over it would be insult of our country!!!!
everybody has thr own likes and dislikes! and we can express our opinion by writing good language too!
democracy in our country has benifits and drawbacks! and using bad langugae while writing comments or while doing any kind of communication is biggest drawback!!!!
plz do not do this! i dnt knw that person against whom people write bad words may affect that person or not but, yes it will surely affect on our country's name and reputation!!!
stop this friends!
i thnk we spend more time on critisism than on breeding or learning gsd standrds!
sorry for this.....

i came to see sieger show in 2006! i felt that indian sieger shows or gsd breed speciallity shows are ruled by some reputed persons in this field! and comman people just come to see the show as they are seeing some TV show!
now if you see a gsd lover who has deep interest in the breed feels that some perticular kennel or breeder breeds nice dogs than other! and try to buy puppy from them!
so, in india i felt that its just a good bussiness made by reputed and rich persons rather than hobby!  and u can never relay on pedigree shown on papers! bcoz DNA test is not in use in india! so, no gurantee of pedigree....................but, yes thr are some good breeders too who breeds just to improve the breed and not for money!
dogs never have to pass courage test, troting test, hips & elbow tests......etc
and bcoz of these all the spieceman who fails to pass all these test come down to india at cheap rate!  some good breeders know all these and they pay good amount for dogs who passed all the above tests!

LETS HOPE THE BREED GROWS IN QUALITY AND ALL INVOLVED TAKE IT AS A SPORT AND THE DOGS FOR SURE ARE GREAT SPORT BUT ITS THIER TWO LEGGED FRIEND WHICH MORE THAT OFTEN IS NOT GIVING THE FOUR LEGGED COMPANION A BAD NAME

INDIANS OVERALL ARE VERY EMOTIONAL PEOPLE IN WHATEVER THEY DO SO THAT IS THE ONLY THING THEY REMEMBER AND GET VERY POSSESSIVE ABOUT THIER DOGS OR DOGS BRED BY THEM AND LIKE EVERY WHERE IN THE WORLD POLITICS PREVAILS HERE TO IT HAPPENS AND BEFORE GOING TO THE SHOW ONE CAN EASILY PICK OUT THE WINNING LINE UP.
I AM SURE SOME GERMAN GUYS CAN DO THE SAME WITH THIER KNOWLEDGE OF DOGS AND OWNERS AND JUDGES AT THE VERY BEST SIEGER SHOW.

I GUESS WE JUST NEED TO LEARN TO TAKE THE RESULTS WITH A BAG OF SALT AND NOT REMOVE OUR ANGER ON THE DOG. THE COMMENTS ARE NOT ON THE DOG PER SAY BUT DIRECTED TO PEOPLE BEHIND THEM AND THIS WILL KEEP HAPPENING AS AT A SHOW  YOU WILL ALWAYS FIND SOMEONE UNHAPPY AND THE DOGS FACE THE FURY.

BUT BOTTOM LINE IS ONCE THE GSD BUG BITES IT WILL NOT DIE AND THATS THE SINGLE MOST POSITIVE FACTOR FOR THIS BREED TO FLURISH IN INDIA IN TIME TO COME THE INCREASED COMPETION AND THE EVEN LAGER EGO DAMAGES WILL SEE MORE PEOPLE BRINGING TOP RATED DOGS AND PARADE THEM JUST HOPE THEY CAN ALSO IMPROVE THE GENE POOL.

CHEERS TO INDIA
