a ZW of 36? I just saw it on someone's website.

Perhaps it's supposed to be 63? And even that would be pretty rare I would guess (I have seen 68 occasionally).......

I can't recall seeing ZW's below around 65 or so...so no, I don't think a ZW that low is possible. If you have the dog's name you can check the SV database.

The lowest I've ever heard of is 65. maybe that's like claiming a dog is OFA Excellent when it's just your dream of being so.

I found the dog and he's listed on the database as a 36 as well. Nicely bred dog but I don't think that number is correct.

The lowest ZW I have ever seen is Aly Vordersteinwald with a 64. The dog in the link can not have a ZW of 36 because his sire's ZW is a 102! His grandsire on the mothers side (Gent) has a ZW of 88 and his granddam on the mothers side has a ZW of 73........nope, a ZW of 36 for this dog is just not possible, I don't think.

Aly was one of the lower ones - still haven't heard of a dog with ZW lower than 65 - and now I can't remember who that dog I heard of with 65 is. Memory is terrible.

I wonder if they confused another numbering system with the ZW. PennHip as an example uses a numbering system.
