THE DOGS SHOWN IN THE VIDEOCLIPS YOU LISTED ARE HARD WORKING DOGS
EVERYONE WHO HAS EVER TRAINED SUCH A DOG FOR TITLES AND SHOWS ESPECIALLY THE SIEGERSHOW; KNOWS WHAT I´M TALKING ABOUT. THOSE DOGS SHOWN HAVE ALL EXCELLENT HIPS AND ELBOWS AND ONLY TO QUALIFY FOR THE SIEGERSHOW THEY PROBABLY RUN AND WALK AND GATE SOME HUNDRED MILES. THIS WOULDN´T BE POSSIBLE IF THERE MOVEMENT WOULD BE SO UNNATURAL.......
BY THE WAY........IS YOUR ALSATIAN X-RAYED HIPS AND ELBOWS?
BEST WISHES

The two WUSV Member Clubs, who should support the SV Breed Standard have been SILENT on these changes. They need to issue a public statement condemning these unilateral changes to our GSD Breed Standard.
It is crucial that the SV takes urgent steps to assert its authority and the authority of the WUSV regarding this serious matter.
I urge ALL SV members to write and/or email the SV requesting they give this matter their urgent attention.

GSDFrankfurt:
Hard working dogs???? Come on give me a break if you needed protection or if the flock needed tending what will they do gait the transgressors to death?. Oh my little shepherd has hip and elbow cert and has probably ran hundreds of miles doing blind work and chasing down decoys, clearing jumps, walls, vertical walls all the work a "working dog should be able to do" and still play nicely with the kids...

Don't be dreary, Bob... just because most of them don't compete at Sch, it doesn't mean they're useless... it may well mean, however, that their owners / handlers are not interested in Sch. Now, whether that's right or wrong...???

I love you more then any women in my life, But GSDF did state working dog so I took his comment literaly I will submit that it does depend on your definition of working, so I appoligize for being dreary, will you show kindness in your heart and forgive me? I wait for your reply... be kind.
Forever yours

In the first video they are not gaiting..they are walking! Or should I say Pacing...and you are right..it looks awful..you can't see nothing on movement with dogs that are pacing..
In the second video..some looks like their backs are broken!! it doesn't look confortable and you can see clearly those dogs cannot gait all day and attend flocks with a stucture like that..
But then.if those dogs won..it should be the ideal no?? Aren't the SV judges competent?? Should we trust their judgement when we see dogs with major gaiting faults being put has good for your breeding program??
That is the question?
