DVG- Les Flores gets MY vote for VP! :-)

Why? I've been a member of Cascade Schutzhund Club for three short months. In that time, I have watched Mr. Flores selflessly help all of us members with literally everything from OB to PRO to Tracking. Regularly there are up to 17 + dogs to work in protection, and he works ALL of them with wit and humor (although sometimes we get some mild scolding - usually on the dog's behalf..lol) , as well as dealing with us handlers in various stages of experience. That's a whole 'lotta dogs to work alone. Sometimes he get's lucky and there will be a visiting helper, or a member with some savvy on helper work and he will actually get a chance to work his own dogs. And like I said - he does it with a smile, maybe some teasing, but always with a passion for the sport. What a cool guy. What a great club.

I look forward to training even when it's freezing cold or pouring rain or snowing. The members of the club are great, are open to helping others, and I feel it reflects on the leadership & spirit of Mr. Flores.

My vote goes to Les as well! I had the pleasure of meeting him at the DVG Nationals in Orlando and he is GREAT!!

What a wonderful, and absolutely accurate, tribute!! Les is the very best of the sport and what it is meant to be. I am so glad that you picked up on this in such a short time. The man has earned our loyalty (and some of us have been burnt and disillusioned enough that it takes work to earn our loyalty). Everything Les does is for the betterment of the sport and the people in the sport. I have seen that man bend over backwards to help idiots who have stabbed him in the back repeatedly, just because they asked him to help them with their dogs. He has no personal agenda, ever. So, now you know why Rayelynn and I jump in and play bitch to protect him from the schmucks. :-)

Les has my full support and vote. Mailed my ballot back days ago!!

I agree with the above post. Les is a great asset to the schutzhund community. Even when Les and I disagree there is no doubt in my mind that he is doing what he believes is the right and honest thing to do. His addition to the DVG board would be a huge step in the right direction for that club. The DVG has stagnated under it’s current leadership. If the DVG gets more people like Les running things I think that that club my finally reach something close to it’s full potential. He has my full endorsement and support.
