I have seen horse-shoe shaped elastic inserts. What are they called?

Would one give links to this class of products? What works best in your opinion and experience.

Thanks very much

There is also a product made from chicken breast sternum. It is by Jarrow for human consumption. AL acid

I wonder if one should use a blender to grind down chicken cartilage, minus bones with excess calcium, for better digestion.

I am looking for info about that U-shaped insert. I know about the roller method already. Thanks

Vitamin C

Don't dogs make plenty of Vit C by themself? Do pups?

I have never had a problem with my dogs ears not standing.  I'd say the best defence is a good offence.  Buy from quality stock.

Ester C is good-stays in the dogs system 24 hours.  Some dogs make enough vitamin C and some dogs do not make enough.  Google this.

The point of the chicken drumstick is for the excercise of crushing through the raw bone with meat on it (cooked or microwaved bones can maim or kill your dog from sharp splinters).  The nutrition from the bone, meat and cartilege is also important.

This strengthens the tendon that goes from the ear to under the jaw and stands those ears right up.

Good luck with your pup,

Michele

Even from the best stock you cannot rule out the possibilty that some ears will not stand up.
