and lol I am shit scared......................they are going in on my nose, lol I do not think so in a miilion years

why do people pay for a nose job, it hurts like hell

A year ago last May, I went in for heart surgery... the sack around my heart had collapsed and was shutting down my blood flow and I needed a triple bypass. Certainly not a nose job, but I was told that had I not had the surgery, at best, I had 6 months to live. I was also told that I should be up and out of the hospital within 6 to 8 days and that some folks get out even sooner.   I had a stroke during surgery and I contracted MRSA. When I woke up after surgery, my speech was jumbled, I flat could not form the words and it seemed I had even forgotten some of them. I couldn't see straight and my left arm and hand were completely none functional.    What was to had been a single entry into must chest, became 4 separate surgeries, each time cutting away more of my chest. What was to be 6 to 8 days in the hospital turned into 2 entire months of fighting for my life. Tubes down my nose, up my penis, into my stomach, in my chest, in my arms and lots and lots of constant pain. What should have cost a few thousand dollars, cost nearly 2 million. Thank G-d I was heavily insured.... it didn't cost me a dime. LOL It took over 3 months of home nursing and the willpower of 10 men to get me rehabilitated. It took me 3 months of gut wrenching withdrawals from my addiction to oxys and morphine.   I have my speech back, my arm works normally, my heart is probably as good as a teenagers, the MRSA is chronic, but inactive, I no longer use a wheelchair or even a cane, and I no longer need to be on oxygen 24/7. Other than the ditch scar in my chest, all other issues are resolved. Well, my left hand works, but it still tingles and feels like I am wearing a glove, but I am right handed so I can still squeeze a trigger.  Rational thought was also diminished and I think this might be why I have gone back to burying bodies under my house, but I am adjusting to it.   Due to medical issues (at times starting out with something simple) Death has tried to get me many times in my life. At the age of 10, I spent a year in a children's hospital, 7 surgeries, staff infection, temperature of 108* for 3 days, skin graphs over 70% of my body, almost having my arm amputated, learning how to walk again and I nearly died several times. While in the Army, there were some folks that didn't like me very much. Before I retired I was a LEO for nearly 30 years, having to deal with the bowels of society on a daily basis, some of those idiots also tried to complicate my day. I have learned that in a life where death is the hunter, there is no time for screwing around, only decisions and the fight for life.     I have been off of my Harley since the surgery, but when the snow is gone, I will be back in the wind and thundering down the road.   So, let me tell you. If surgery is required to live, I would do it all over again---I love life and most of the time I live it with great passion. But if there's not such a requirement to stay alive, there is no way anybody is going to touch me with a knife without getting shot, period. ; >)   I guess it all depends on how bad you really feel that you need to roll the dice, just so you will be able to pick your nose. ; >) Personally, I suspect this might be a case of taking the phase, "keep your nose clean", a bit far.    Have fun...... P.S.  Gator we were posting at the same time, no disprespect intended to you re my drug comment, sounds like you really went through hell medically, thank goodness you are here to tell the tale.
