There are some good DDR breeders, a few being on this board....If I was you I would do research first, and ask questions ....which it looks like you are starting to do.....if you aren't familiar with them. Most reputable breeders on here probably won't sell you one if you just want it for it's looks.  I also love the looks of them, but I wouldn't get one just for that.  The breeders would also want to know what your plans are for the dog.....the list could go on and on.

Connie is a very nice person and easy to deal with. I talked to her when I was looking at DDR dogs. Her male Puck vom Grafental is a handsome dog. I just love the pictures I have seen of him. I have also talked to several people that have pups from him and they are very happy with them.

Also another person to speak to is Julie Marlow at vom Banach K9. She also has nice DDR dogs. She has a very nice DDR male named Aron vom Poppitz. I have met him in person. He has rock solid nerves and is a nice looking dog.

Are you looking for pure DDR or part DDR? Where are you located? Also another kennel I would look at is Just K9s. She has a very nice DDR/showline 12 week old sable female pup. This pup would make a very good working dog. I have a full sister to the sire of this pup.

Check out Al Gill at Von Der Haus Gill German Shepherds in Ohio I have a Solid Black DDR female from him she is one wicked bitch. They can be very hard dogs. You need to be a firm hand and ready to deal with this type of breeding..

I will say all 4 of these people are good to go to. I personally have Puck pups that I kept out of my litter a few years ago. However I don't agree with needing a firm hand on these dog's. Some of the DDR lines yes, but not all. The pups that I kept out of Puck are very sensitive to correction so therefore do not need a firm hand to deal with them. I'm not saying all of Puck's pups are this way, just the ones I have. Some lines will give you hard dog's depending on the parents lines and some you will get that are sensitive to correction, and again it all depends on the lines of the parents. This is just my personal experience that I've gone through.
