So someone just told me I'm stupid for teaching Atlas how to snap, because he would bite someone!!! What!!! Is that true!?!

Sorry I'm slightly upset, it wasn't someone from this site by the way.

Well I knew a lady that taught her dog to sneeze on command,
but to snap at someone is like teaching them a bad habit,

I try & teach my dogs to take food from my hand as gentle as they can, so nobody looses a finger

I don't mind seeing them snap like gators when I throw food in the air & they catch it............

He seems very intelligent and can be easy trained to do just about anything, don't be upset, just look at

the big picture------like when a little kid hands him some food-------

He knows a counter command called "be sweet" and we have used this with small children before.  and it works great, he's REALLY gentel.. I'll post another video of both commands so it doesn't look like I'm trying to teach my dog to bite someone.

How do you teach a dog to sneeze on command?

Hi again,

I also breed labs, and sometimes they snort & sneeze when they're happy, Nothing like Shepherds!
Actually, the man that I go to for the lab's stud service lives in Norton, so I call my lab's "Snorton from Norton!"

Anyway, a friend of mine got a black lab from me and when I was over her house she was like, ok Jake
sneeze, and sure enough he'd sneeze sometimes 5 in a row!

She also  taught him not to step onto the living room carpet, he would stay in the kitchen without any gate!
he was a good boy!
