My German Shepard decided to pull up about 6 verticle spines (just popped off from the welding) on one of the access doors of our Precision 3-door cage that sells for $150.00. Precision however does not sell any parts for its cages. The door is easily removed and could easily be replaced by removing the hinge rod... but Precision says that it's too "dangerous" to replace a door - so they don't supply them. So I'm stuck with a 3-door cage with 2 doors - and shopping for another brand. I guess they think I will buy another Precision cage if they don't sell parts. NOT SO!! Any recommendations?

Find a machine or metal shop, take the door in and have them weld it. They should be able to fix it for less than the price of a new crate. If not then ship it to me and I'll just have my hubby fix it. LOL
