Just wanting to know if there is anyone in GA that is wanting to get together an SDA club or knows of people training for SDA. I have a male that I am wanting to start training and would love to go this ave. with him. I have some bitches in Sch and SAR but would like to try this with him. If you know of anyone or live in GA around the ATL area let me know.

guardian, I train with SDA in Chattanooga, TN. I'm fortunate enough to be 1/2 hour away from Jack Rayl, founder of SDA, and our club trains with him on a regular basis. Off the top of my head I don't know of any clubs in the Atlanta area. You can check out our website, www.sdachattanooga.com, to get some contacts. One of our trainers is from Georgia, Tom Cawood, and may be able to help you out. You can also get Mr. Rayl's contact info on the Service Dogs of America's website. Feel free to PM me for more info. Big Swill I have a question that you might know the answer to (I am hoping) But when are they going to be posting the events for this year? I am trying to get my game plan together but lack the dates of SDA. Any help or information would be great Thanks

EK, I'm not exactly sure when they dates for events will be posted on either the UKC site or the Service Dogs of America site. I know that we will be having a spring trial in our area the weekend of April 18-19. We (SDA) will also have a big part in the UKC Premier event in Kalamazoo, Michigan in June. You can go on the SDA website and find links to many SDA clubs in the country and find dates for some of their events there as well. I know that some of the dates are being firmed up by some of the clubs so I'm sure these will be posted when everything is set. You can email me and I will be more that happy to forward you any info I've got on the events I know about and any other info as I get it.

Hi guys, I competed in SDA back in October at Jacks place and I loved it my male obtained his Fo, P1, and PD1. Actually I am driving from Milwaukee to TN in february just to train and get helper certified. They are truly super nice people. I am also planning on competing in the UKC Premier with my male Xeus.

Eisenfaust, I actually met you at Jack's. I was the short dark haired guy that trains with Tom and the gang. I'll be there in Feb. as well. I'm looking forward to seeing you again. How are Xeus and the pups doing?
