Mum of Zoe

by Mum of Zoe on 17 January 2009 - 02:01

From tonight's episode, Cesar demonstrates the power and determination of a fully dominant wolf hybrid, and the strength and equal amount of determination it takes to work with these dogs--and why hybrids are a bad idea for the inexperienced general public.  You can tell Cesar was a little stressed after he finally got the hybrid to submit.  Probably got his heart racing when his sleeves got shredded!

I've seen dogs fight the leash just as much as that wolf dog.

That's a Malamute, you morons LOL

He is an idiot!

What actually started the aggression? Him kicking the dog in the ass and saying his stupid Pssssssst shit. That was not dominance, it was transferred aggression. The dog was thinking about going after the other dog, got kicked, and transfered that aggression to the handler. Dog aggression 101. But to the Dog Whisper Ding A Ling, everything is about "dominance".

Real confident and dominant dogs do not go after a whimpy Border Collie that is showing no sign of a challenge. "He doesn't like the dog's energy"...blah, blah, blah. That dog is just an asshole bully that has gotten away with it with his owners. A real dominant dog would have come right back at him the minute he caught his breath and it would have been on again. Real dominant dogs need more than one choke out, esp from some guy that just grabbed his leash.

Then instead of just choking the dog out, he dances around with the dog, with constant pressure on the leash, of course the dog is going to keep coming up the line, he is getting choked, duh? If you must choke a dog out, it needs to be done immediatley and with one hang, not up, down, round and round.

With all that said, if a dog is raised correctly, you would only need to do this with the "True Alpha Dog" which is about 2% of all dogs, if that.

Very, very few people understand true dominance and there are very very few of those dogs out there.

Dominance is just an easy excuse for poor training and bad behaviour.

Ok sorry, but I have not gone off about the Whisper Ding a Ling for awhile now.

The scary thing is he is going to send that dog back to it's owners "fixed" in a half hour and 4 in home lessons

It does look more like a malamute than wolf hybryds I have seen,  the owners did not disclose the generation, 1/2 or less wolf and dog.  The male was really pretty.  Still not something the average person should have in their home.

If you come to Chicago for the Sieger Show, take a short trip south to Big Run Wolf Ranch in Lockport, IL, its a real neat place to learn about wolf and the problem with hybrids.

IT WAS JUST A DOG WITH AN ATTITUDE PROBLEM,LEFT TO  ITS OWN DIVECES TO LONG .I do not know enough about what a malamute looks like to say whether it had wolf in it or not.It did look like my neighbors dog who they say is part wolf .I have seen dogs choked out alot faster then that. They were police K9s that would not out OFF LEAVE IT    the perp.

This dog gets corrected while in drive and in aggression. Did he come up the line? No, because he was raised and trained correctly and with the proper tools (note e-collar)

BTW, this dog gives me MAJOR WOOD!!!!

and he is in the US.
