I just spoke to a trainer breeder and he states he has a ddr dog that is 135 lbs! Can that be correct? Or is there something wrong? Oh and according to the owner he can and will kill other dogs! Has killed a pit bull already! Some things wrong right?

Run away from them as fast as you can. Yes, something is very wrong.

Thanks London, I thought something was up with this guy. He told me the dog was certified narcotic detection and explosive as well.. Now, I know something is wrong with that picture! I can't see a dog having the ability to be do that.. If I am wrong please correct me..

What is it with every body and lies? This is not the first person that has told me this! The dog world is becoming a scary place!

I wouldn't be proud of the fact that the dog killed another dog.

years ago,  I was talking to a man outside of Abilene texas.  he had working line gsd and fila's, also bred buffalo.  he was very proud of the fact that one of his male filas could go out and take down a big male buffalo.  needless to say,  we didn't do any type of business. this man was unstable.

I wouldn't want a working dog to be 135 lbs.  a working dog needs to be a size that the handler can easily lift it up into trailers (such as a police service k9 searching big rigs ect), help get the over fences ect.  I just don't care for the oversized dogs being sold as a service animal.  especially SAR or police work.

99.99999% of trainers out there will not cross train a dog to be dual trained in explosives and narcotics and i don't believe that NAPWADA  or the NNDDA will even certify a dog for both...

I would ask him for the certification numbers and check it out...very easy to do.

He may have a duel purpose but if he is 135 lbs , he is a lunitic.   what 135 lb dog could jump a fence, scale a wall , crawl thru the small opening in a basement or do any work.

Just like an over weight policeman cannot pass his tests for agility and scale a walll if he is 265lbs or more. with a beer Gut...funny as can be.

RUNFAST   FROM ANY MAN THAT TELLS YOU HIS DOGS KILL DOGS....HE IS TWO BALLS BALLS PAST MIDNIGHT .

I thought some thing was wrong! He kept telling me that he could careless if he sold the dog. Then he offers me a started gsd ( White ) at that 3 years old.. The dog was so amazing that he walked through his kennel gate! Wow! Some people just have a loose cannon going off to make a sale..

I just want a dog that is certified and ready to go to work.. No bs lines attached.. Yes I have my three here but all young and of course the one is no good for work what so ever.. Just a pet! But hey is it asking to much for honesty?

Oh forgot, the guy proceeds to tell me if I want to get my pet quality dog to work get her to attack other dogs! Bring out her deffence that way! Ouch!

Candis: I have germans that take cyclone fence down  and twist the guide wires into pretzels and can pull a fence off the gate of any kennel in the usa unless it is iron...
I guess I will sell anyone of them for a detection dog as they can find firecrackers in the grass and find copperheads under barn, and jump fences, and dig holes to china in 5 minutes...what else do they need to do...Climb rrees too...and even jump thru pick up windows....three of mine do that...amomg many other real dog jobs.

funny as a pistol on water and oil.
