Still in Need of Help with Tech Problems - Page 1

Ok Im now able to post...It was Oli's software..glitz...I became very afraid I had a problem and Pharaoh , and Sam couldnt post either...so after i downloaded Flash Player, nothing changed...about 11:00 today I got my message box and input box.

Sam emailed Oli also..I imagine he , too, can post, now..

I felt like I lost my best friend...lol

Kallibeck:   Maybe you can do a pic now...I dont know anything about an other computor but Windows..and I just click that box on the second line with the moon over the mountain...about 25 on the row...then when box comes up  , click upload.
then a line comes with word   browse..click it...takes you to the choice of what ever folder you have pics in...click your pic..then open   back to box when i pops back open     click    submit to what ever the word is there...forgot....wait   '
if you have dial you wait.....wait    wait.         a little triangle pops up and tells you your pic has been successfully uploaded.
click ok     in a left side two little boxes are with big numbers.../   in top box   remove what is there if anything and put no bigger than 400...sometimes a preview in the right box is there and you can resize it to 350 if you want or what ever    ....then hit at bottom  ok  and whalla   on the posted box it goes   ..then you can use your enter key to move it...

Yellowrose        the input bar is a newer one I believe      older one had 4 lines and another box with moon...:::??? I am not computor person..if it doesnt work   ...   Only process I know..I dont have pop up or any other programs in the way or dont know if I do or not....dummy computor agent 101 here.

Yes, I see some trty posting and nothing shows. Not many people on either. Anybody else have the advertisment crap over their log in and mailbox stuff? I can't log out for fear of not being able to log back in. I also can't access my personal stuff or change my avatar today.

I always have a hard time with a computer.some day I need to go take a course in them.I JUST WONDER IF AN OLD DOG CAN LEARN NEW TRICKS,lol oh and lately my capital tab does what it wants.

wow  that means he is having major problem   ..I was told by a computor ghuru that it is his software or his server..so just hang loose...   we also had a person hack his site two weeks ago , Im told and put some mess in the headers...or there is a big glitz in his software.

Try emailing Oli so he knows...I emailed him 3 times...I will try my avitar and see if I can change it...

Kalibeck - not sure. i use the icon on the toolbar, above the reply box, and never had a problem.

do you have this  icon?  - it's a square with a mountain and a yellow sun, mine is on the right side of the mifddle row - the 6th icon from the right. 

here's what i do:
when posting a pict off my computer
- i click on the mt/sun icon (called insert/edit image)
- then i click on "upload"
- then "browse" once i find the image i want i click "open" which sends the location to the space next to the browse button
- then "send it to the server" this will take you back to the first page "image info"
- then i set the largest dimension to 600
- last click ok

when posting an image from the net: after opening the insert/edit image icon, i simply copy and past the ulr, and again set the largest dimension to 600 and then click ok

if this doesn't work for you post what & where it went wrong and maybe we can help trouble shoot your problem as well.

I did have a problem loggin in...had to log in 4 times...it kept telling me    invalid user or password...had me thinking I had lost my memory..finallythe 5th time it took it..

yesterday it took me 3 times same thing...to get it to take my loggin..
