Food for thought- Will the KC stop accepting registrations until the NEW types are sorted out?
Will they need to outcross to change the head of the British Bulldog? Will these dogs still be pedigree if they outcross?
As the new standard will be applied at Crufts will there be any entries?
As many of the gsd judges don't judge to the standard anyway, will we still have soft backed long dogs who couldn't do a days work being put up. If some of the "English" dogs had to do more than a triangle they would be out for the count.

Entries for crufts closed at the begining of this month, and I bet there will be many who attend rule changes or not.
As for the English ones - they have more faults than a banana backed GSD anyday, why couldnt they also take into account the english's lack of movement or ability to move freely!

What about the temperaments? Many leave much to be desired, there were a couple of crackers at Malvern Counties (I think it was LKA) last year... absolutely terrified! The judge (?) couldn't even check the teeth of one!
What about the overloaded fronts and short legs?

Isn't any dog that shows aggression towards the judge supposed to be immediately EXCUSED from the ring?
Nothing wrong with the standard in some cases other than lack of the guts to enforce it!

Quite right, Sunsilver... but this was a UK judge, judging a UK dog!
The standard, is kind of like the Bible or any other Holy book... everyone seems to have their own interpretation.
Where have you seen these roach backed dogs in the UK please, Sunsilver?
