This question probably has a simple anser ( I hope). I noticed about a week ago that one side of my 9 month old GSD's nose was turning a little pink. I did a search on the forum and found a thread on winter nose. However, in the last couple of days, I've noticed a pink spot right under his nose on his upper lip area. Is this the same type condition as winter nose? I use stainless bowls, no plastic, and there have been no food changes in months so I'm not sure if it's an allergy or not. I know I could take him to the vet, but just wanted to make sure ti's just something normal first. Thanks in advance for any info.

Yeah, go ahead and take him to the vet and spend 250.00. I will tell you a way to fix it,,just use a black magic marker on it until it leaves, if it bothers you..
Yes, you have what is called winter nose...it will go back to normal when spring comes...give your dog some fish caps and some yogurt in his food...try a little extra virgin olive oil in his food three or four times a week . one tablespoon per bowl.
