OK, I am doing some pedigree research on Judge. Here is his pedigree......http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/528847.html

I am wondering about his grand-dam. She is from Kraftwerk K-9 and was supposedly titled. I want proof of that and can't find any info on her anywhere. Her name is Die Tessa Vom Kraftwerk. As well as his grand-sire Jimmy Vom Stadtfeld who was also supposedly titled nut I can't find anything on him online. Does anyone know these dogs or have heard of them? Any info?

I would also like info on Gimmy Von Haus Larwin, Maya Vom Heidknapp, Meike Vom Heienkamp and Sally Vom Heienkamp.....I have looked online and can't find anything yet. So help is appreciated. Can anyone tell me about

SG Boy vom Pendel Bach and Daffy vom schönen Blick

Also I'm newer to the breed and would like to know what lines he is, I think as far as I can tell he is Czech, and East German. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I'd really appreciate ANY information on any of the dogs listed. I want to know as much as I can about his lines and GSD lines in general.

Thanks

Courtney

Your dogs pedigree looks mostly West German working lines to me. The only way to acquire proof of titles is to see the actual dog's scorebook or breed survey. If any progeny from the dogs you are researching are Sv registered, then chances are high the parents were titled, as in order to qualify for SV registration, the parents must be titled. They also must have a working title to obtain a breed survey.

Have you tried asking your breeder??

Looked really quick. Seems like you should try to focus your research on the East German Czech-type working shepherds. Maybe you will have better luck finding some of these dogs. There are a number of more specialized databases per GSD type. Also try some of the foreign kennel sites and breederrs as they may be able to fill in the holes on gaps in pedigrees.

Hope this helps.

OK, Jimmy and MOST of the other dogs were SV registered. Thanks for clarifying lines for me. lol I've been ahving a hell of a time with that East/West thing. lol His breeder knows all about the dad's side and a bit about the mom's but when she contacted Kraftwerk for more info, they never got back to her about it. I've tried e-mailing them and they never responded. SO, I figured I'd do it myself as the breeder is busy and I'm the one that's curious. Courtney

Sometimes just googling the dog's name brings up a ton of info.

I've tried the obvious things......googling being one of them. Haven't tried it will all the names yet but plan on it. I was hoping maybe somebody here had dealt directly with these dogs or had siblings etc. Thanks for you help!

Gimmy is a littermate to Gento, who I am told was a for real dog in the bitework.

google the names, follow the links, translate the pages and with a degree of hit or miss, you may come across the lineage. It took me aobut 4 hours.

I agree with Kandi that your dog is west working lines. I looked only up to his 5th generation and did not see any east german ddr lines at all. If you can't get any information by google, I would continue to email or call kraftwerk to get the information you are looking for. Good Luck

Yes, once you get further back there's DDR in her dog's pedigree. It goes back to Gimmy vom Haus Larwin, who's sire was all DDR.
