We did the OFA's on Annie on Jan 5, 2009.  I did both the hips and the elbows. These pictures that are posted I took with my digital camera of the original xray. The xray itself is very straight, these pictures are a little off. The ones of the elbows are ok. They are a little fuzzy so I did not post them. I just wanted to see what you all thought she would get as a rating?

Here is her pedigree. She is Czech/west working.

Very nice postioning and exposure. I think these hips look nice....I bet they will go good but I am no expert on reading the xray, only taking it, LOL.

I am no expert so this is just a wild guess, the sockets look deep, OFA Good.

definately NOT perfectly straight.  But good enough positioning to tell - nice  hips.  Definately good, maybe better :)

Thanks for the comments so far. I cant wait to hear back from OFA. I know it is going to be several weeks.

Molly

The xrayes themself were straight. The pictures however were a little off. I had the camera tilted a little...I am NOT the best photographer...hehe.

The sockets and femurol balls are smooth and fit well, and the femoral necks are normal in size. The only concern I have is the amount of pelvic bone covering the socket, as it appears to be the minimum required for a passing score. That said, the hips shoud definitely achieve a rating of "Fair" and may achieve a rating of "Good".

But, they do look good, so they would not worry me.

Best Regards,

The positioning is not completely straight, take a look at the knees.

That is what Molly is referring to.
