On the recommendation of snaiper69 and my breeder Steve Simpkins snaiper69 told me he feeds it to all his dog's that is good enough for me. I ordered a 20 pound bag of Vet's Choice Holistic Health Extension thru the company's web site. Now talk about service it arrived in less than a day and I used regular ground service FEDX the cheapest transport.

Well I just had to see how my dog's like it so I poured a bowl of Vet's Choice right next to their regular bowl of Orijen I use a mix of 6 fish and adult formula well much to my  surprise they completely ignored the Orijen and completely devoured the whole bowl of Vets Choice in a flash.  Had to re-fill the bowl a first and zoom completely gone again.  WOW

There food looks like  real quality and also smells real good.  Maybe it's because it's new but so far it couldn't have gone any better great service and great food at an affordable price.  www.vetschoice.com

I have heard thru the grapevine that Orijen is going to have a price increase of $10.00 a bag if that is so I'm still waiting for conformation then Vet's Choice which I consider in the same league has become a real viable alternative.  Especially for those of you looking for a grain free kibble with lower protein and at a affordable price.  I'll keep you guy's posted on how it goes with my dog's.

Your Vet Choice is hardly "grain free". Maybe you better read the ingredients again.

Larry, Hodie is right, I looked into it when it was mentioned before and just did another peak. Brown rice and oatmeal are 3-4 ingredients.

I saw that myself. Cheap grains are what you are paying for. If youwant to cut your food costs, feed less Orijen and a cup of rice mixed in with the food to fill your dog up. Same difference.

Looks OK, but not exactly in the same "ball park" as Orijen.

I also prefer to add my own herbs. not be dependant on a kibble for them.  Do dogs really need Ginko daily?

I wouldn't buy anything that is called "Vet's Choice".  Right there they think that you are stupid enough to believe that the Vets voted and this is the best.  Secondly, who says that all vets know what to feed a dog?  They took courses in Vet medicine, not canine dietary 101.  That's like listening to a Podiatrist on dietary matters.  My vet is a fat lazy guy.  Maybe he should worry about himself before he considers what my dog eats.

It works on all dogs that I know are on it, better than most stuff out there. BTW I did try Orijen totaly didn't work for my dog, my pups hot dog is eating it now. Plus stool is very consistant most dogs prefer it over any other food, I have quite few dogs and some of them been on different types of food, they always prefer Vet's Choice. My sister dog's finaly looks like he supposed to after we switch her onto that food, it might work for some and it might not for other dogs. Buttom line is you have to use what works for your dogs. Like I said no other food work better on my dog's than Vet's Choice. After trying Orijen and seeing no improvement but actually more issues I decided that if I want better quality food I rather use RAW. So far my female is two weeks on RAW only and I never been more happy she still's get her Vetschoice few days per week, as I don't want to bring RAW with me every time I go on Vecation since all my Vacation are 100% outdoors RAW wouldn't be too convinient, except the one that she will hunt it her self :). I been paying $40 for 40lb and I still stand by it and think of it as good quality kibble is it the best? No I do not think so, I think that there is nothing better than RAW, but if it is dry food I will choose Vet's Choice over anything out there.
