Okay, this is a test! It is a test of the Non-Emergency Broadcast System. No, actually I just want to see if it attracts Golden and Poodle people likes flies...or like shiloh folks. :-) Ay any rate, we do know that people HAVE titled Goldies and Standard Poodles in Schutzhund. Ray Blomberg took a Goldie to Sch 3 and competed with him at a DVG National Championship in the 80's. Sheila Booth titled the poodle.

I could see a working line Standard Poodle over a Golden.  Wasn't there a Chessie?

Don't forget the recent German Shorthair Pointer that had a short article in the USA magazine!

There have been more than one Aussie. Vicki Bartley in Texas bred and titled them. Scraps Rusty Lugar was Sch 3 and competed in USA National Championships.

I trialed one time with a lady that got a SchH1 on a Collie.

There are several Schh3 Border Collies, a few black labs, and I saw a yellow lab that competed as Schh3 at the first HOT championship - he was also a working police (narcotics) K9.

I have seen a few labs do some bite work. They did pretty good. I use to work with a K9 trainer that trained a black lab as a dual purpose (narcotics and protection) for a Police Dept in Hawaii. Apparently the dog was a hard ass dog.

The lab that I had that is now a K9 for a Police Dept in Texas, LOVED to do bite work. He started out on the hard sleeve. His prey drive was so high all it took was to make the sleeve "alive" and he bite with a FULL mouth bite everytime. He bite hard and calm too.  He would have made a great Schutzhund dog. I think he could have done ring sport or PSA too.
