Can people share first hand experience of what are the Good Bitches which bring out great offsprings from this dog?

regards

Hi,

we actually own a puppy (he is 6 months old now) by Elliot and Kiara von der Sandkautschneise. Nubis is a great dog but nobody can say whether he will turn out allright. Here in Germany Elliot has sired about 110 puppies so far but none of them are even grown up, so no x-rays, no trials or anything. I know the dog personally and have seen him work, he is awesome, I tell ya, drives like crazy, but not easy to handle! He is pretty much 'en vogue' these days but we'll have to wait and see...

Regards

Sabine

will he get his due place in the arena? Is the right effort being made to bring him to top trials? regards

Hi,

Eliot has SchH3 by now. I know the owner and the people he is training with, the BSP winner of 2007, Thomas Lapp, among others. They are really pushing this dog and he is doing well - but as I said, he is hard to handle and his owner faces quite a few challenges especially with obedience during protection work. But that could be (as some people say) a handling problem, this guy tends to pull his dogs up and up which isn't really necessary as this dog has enough drive for two.

There was a portrait of Eliot in the latest issue of DSH Spezial, a very fine magazine here in Germany. (www.dsh-spezial.de) Unfortunately it is in German only.

Regards

Sabine
