Hey Guys, I need your thoughts about the fantastic new picture of Banderas du domaine du parc  http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/499236.html . He is indeed a 2009 Superstar! One of the Best if not the Best Vegas son so far. I heard that his progeny is very promising as well. All his puppies so far are very well pigmented and with dark black eyes and a top character!!

 He is a show dog. How is his grip? nerve? I,d like to see his protection and agality on the equipment  If he is indeed a superstar I,d like to see video of his work and talk to the helpers that have worked him on the field.

Not much not to like is there?  He's a lovely dog but he doesn't "do it" for me, I'd like to see him in the flesh sometimes 'photos  leave a lot to be desired.

Hey Bob, "we" don't give you a hard time about "great prey drives, ball crazy, hits like a frieght train" blah, blah, so cut us some slack here?  Thanks!

 missbeeb;

 To each there own, but you have never seen me post any thing captioned as you stated in the above post,also you have never seen me post a pic and call it a super star. I hope the dog is a super star that is posted to the original thread I hope this dog is functionally correct,driven,hip healthy and a working fool all i asked was for more information  is that okay with you??

How about some slack for me?.

Bob, he's Sch2 so I guess he can work... to some degree?

I'm sorry for being snippy.

I am with Bob on this one.

I don't need to see "scores" I'd like to see video of the dog working.

He is most def. a good looking dog, I like the dark color, but I am with everyone else here, Any videos of him working? By calling a dog a Superstar of 2009 you kind of ask for his working ability to be brought up, after all GSD is a working dog (I think we all agree on that). Is he a good looking dog? Absolutely I love the way he looks on that pic, can he work as well as he looks? I don't know and I wouldn't judge his working abilty based on him haveing SchII as we know those can be bought, and almost any decent dog with a good trainer can get SCHIII if that's what they are aming for. To be honest after watching some bite work of showline dogs I was bit disappointed, but Vegas was the only one that cought my eye. Hope that his son will be even better.

missbeeb:

No need to say i,m sorry when there was no offense made, I love you like the morning sun.

In my little mind(Bob,s world) There would be no seiger shows or working shows Just a trial with the overall dog being judged for looks form and function with olympic style judgeing and real helper work that all the dogs are put thru no matter what the lines are. There would be still a 6 foot wall and different scenieros.

And if the world were perfect i,d be 225lbs and look good in a thong...

I,d love to see a dog as posted above work like a monster that would be great.

That's how it used to be Bob... they used to be correctly constructed and they could work!  I worked my show dogs (not Sch) so did a lot of people at one time... what happened?

More people are getting interested in Sch, but I hear (on this board) that many of the judges are "iffy"!
