Yesterday, I was awoken to the sound of a gagging dog. I look up from bed and see my male trying to puke. I take him outside, then look at it to see if there's anything alarming in his vomit, It was a bright yellowish liquid with nothing in it. It was bubbly, and if I didn't see them puke it up I would have thought it to be urine. The dogs are fed a raw diet, they havent had dinner or breakfast, cause we need to buy more chicken, but are fed mornings and evenings on a regular basis. Otherwise they appear extremely healthy, clean, gums are not pale, eyes/nose are not runny. They aren't acting sick, either. The morning after my male puked this stuff out, I heard my female gagging and took her outside. Which was this morning. Once again, the yellow liquid. Nothing in it. I don't think this is normal, but they don't seem like they need to go to the vet, or are sick at all. I'll definitely watch them, but do you guys know what this could be? Or are they just.. Vomitting? This hasn't happened before, and I get worried about them too easily.

Our dogs will sometimes vomit the same yellow bile always seems to happen if they exercise on an emplty stomach, not sure if this is the case for your dogs or not? I wouldn't be too concerned as long as they are keeping food down and seem fine energy wise.  Keep an eye on them.

Again sounds like bile to me also,  mine will do this if it is close to feeding time and they are hungry.

Mine just did this very thing this morning..  was grass

I always worry when things come out the wrong end, just keep an eye on the situation.

I don't think its serious, but I don't see what you see.

Doesn't sound like anything to worry about, it's bile.  Mine throw it up when they've been eating grass (usually spring time) or if they're hungry sometimes.  IMO central heating / over heating indoors can cause it too.

Mine do this too. Yellow bile. I wouldn't worry.

Ok, thanks guys. With both of them, they puked it up right in the morning. I was woken up to it and had to rush them outside so I didnt' have to clean up a nasty mess. So, no excercise before. I'll make sure to keep an eye on them both, and see if any other symptoms arise.

1 of mine does this as well. It is usually in the morning when he wakes up, so no eating grass or exercise before this happens. It is exactly as you described. He doesn't do it all the time either.

MIne have puked up the nasty yellow bile stuff too. I think for me its when their feedings are to far apart. If I remember to give them just a small snack before bed it helps almost 100%.
