My female has changed her colors at times to the point where I would sit back and wonder if she were the same dog. I will post a few.
Just wondering if you all have any such pics of yours to compare also. I know that seasonal shedding and new coats can lend to this phenom. I just thinks amazing to watch.
Please forgive the oversized photos...having a hard time remembering how to resize.

Large photos are a drag... they haven't loaded... try the resizing and space them with the enter key so they don't spread the page out.
My GSDs have always shown this change as they grow.
Neat huh?

i know and i sincerely apologize...i'll try what you suggested....
if anyone else knows how or can resize these, i would certainly be appreciative!

GSDfanatic, if the photos are already loaded on the PDB, go into the 'edit post' screen, and right-click on them. You will get a popup that tells you the photo's properties. You will see a box that gives the photo's height and width. Resize the width to around 400-500, and the height will resize automatically.

I have software for images but Sunsilvers idea will work too.
I have seen at least three changes take place with two of my dogs as far as markings and colors.
I'm not saying this is true for all dogs, just mine. Shedding does bring out fresh hair and the colors may seem changed but the changes I saw in mine were from 8 weeks to about a year and a half.
P.S.
Good morning Sunsilver...:)

My female is just getting her full coat in after the fall shed, and I'm surprised at how red she looks compared to the summer coat! I'll have to get some pictures. She is really looking GORGEOUS!
Okay, to MY eyes, anyway!
Your pics aren't showing for me. Do they work for everyone else?
Procedure for uploading a photo from your computer:
1) Select the picture icon, the one with a mountain and a sun.
2) Once you get the popup, select UPLOAD
3) Click the BROWSE button, and browse through the files until you find the photo you want. Click on it, then when the address shows in the box, select "Send it to the server". This may take several minutes for a large photo. You may want to resize your photos BEFORE loading, to make them load quicker.
4) Once it has finished loading, IT WILL SHOW IN THE EDITING SCREEN!!! PLEASE NOTE: NO PHOTO IN THE EDITING SCREEN = NO PHOTO ONCE YOU POST YOUR MESSAGE, EITHER!!
5) You should be able to see how large the photo is, by looking at photo properties. If it needs resizing, pick a number around 400 for the width. Height will then resize automatically to keep the image from distorting.
6) Post the picture. If it is too large, resize it as I outlined in my previous post.

yes, i just find it neat to sit back and watch the way they do change.
The bottom photo (was moved when I resized it) was actually around a year and a half. She has the dark mask back again which I love. That bottom photo made her look like a totally different dog. She had lost the black from her face and even her legs and chest had turned a weird shade.

Here are photo's of my girl Askia, and all the changes she went through. She's the only one that I've had that went through some major color changes, at least I think she has.

Almost 11 months old
And now at 2 years old
