His name is Jano's and he is five mths old. I tried to stack him and then have the camera take the picture with the self timer on. I really need another person to get his attention as you all know. Anyways, let me know what you all think. I'm tough skinned so don't be shy!

Very nice boy, a little easty westy in the front from the looks of the photo, but do not be discouraged. I am sure he will straighten more with age. This is a pretty common problem, once his chest fills out, which it looks like it will nicely, his front will straighten.
Very nice head and expression too, what are your plans with him and what is his pedigree?

Thanks all! He is going to be my companian. I will definitely train him so he will be very mannerly and good with our horses and to take places...but my Schutzhund days are over. I may do a little agility as well...always fun and good for bonding. I was over there in October for the Hanoverian stallion licensing and got him then. I lost my last Shepherd about 4 years ago and wasn't going to get another, but then I really started to miss having one and decided on him. He is from Grafschaft Mark kennels in Germany. His sire is Jakas Garliavietis and the dam is Virginia von der Grafschaft Mark . I was disappointed to hear that Jakas failed the courage test at the sieger show this year. This pup has a very easy going, very guidable character...not what I would have picked if I was still competing in Sch. I really can't or don't want a dog with really high drives. On the same token he is very sound, I can take him anywhere and into any situation and he is never weirded out or shows any lack of soundness. He was a kennel puppy for four months before I got him so it's not like he was socialized much. All and all I'm really pleased with him ( okay I love him to death! lol) I was hoping for a bit more masculine/larger boned dog, he has lots of growning and filling out to do yet. He actually just turned six months.
Kelly...why do you think he is going to be big? I believe both parents were rated as middle sized.
Kim, Actually his front legs are very correct when he is coming and going...but then when I try to stack him I get that east/west stance. He will never be used for breeding anyways, but I do like correct legs. It's funny as the pic doesn't show it but he does have a tiny bit of a roach when he is travelling. But I personally don't mind the look of it so it's okay with me.
anyways thanks again guys for the comments and compliments!!
