My wife is interested in a working line puppy...preferably bicolor in the tristate area. We previously purchased one over the interenet that had multiple problems so this time we would like to see the kennels in person.

That is a very, very good idea. I drove 13 hours to visit the kennel that I bought my dog from (west coast). And then I went to pick him up at eight weeks. Believe me, I would have abandoned my money if I didn't like what I saw. But I was very happy.
So sorry you went through bringing home a pup with serious problems.
Good luck in your search.

Thanks. Actually we love the puppy he has a great temperment and is now 15 months old. Really his major problems were that when he arrived we noted he was a cryptorchid which we hadnt been made aware of and his ears never stood up. We also didnt receive his papers. The breeder did offer a replacement puppy but of course my wife was too bonded to him to ever send him back. Live and learn.

There many good breeders out there for Working dogs. You could go and see a few clubs and see what is out there.Look at the Northeasternregion web site for breeders and clubs to look at.I am sure some one could turn you to a good breeding.I would also look in PA. http://northeasternregion.homestead.com/index.html

Can't resist a plug for myself here...
We have a nice 100% working line litter in Eastern PA due any minute now. Not sure about the colors yet. This litter should be fine for family and work. Mom Gabi has produced a lot of nice, titled/KK dogs from a variety of fathers. We expect 6-9 live whelps, $1500 each, normal guarentees. The pups will be lovingly whelped and reared at Molly Graf's place (in the house, of course!) Doesn't get any better than that.
