Bob-O

I presume this pertains to a favourite dog of all time thus far? For me that is easy-the VA-5 Lasso di Val Sol, who was born and took the VA-5 seat when I was a teenager. The Lasso was absolutely correct in size and conformation to every section of the F.C.I. breed standard. Old school and correct; the Lasso had a very hard and serious fight drive. Some have criticized his gait for not having the beauty in motion that few dogs have, but that may have been his only flaw.

The Lasso is marked proof that the Quanto Wienerau could produce a working son. Although with his beauty and structure the Quanto outshone his son Lasso, the proof was there. I am tempted to say that the Lasso deserves his place as a pillar of our favourite breed, but that truely belongs to his father, the Quanto Wienerau.

Best Regards,

Bob-O

Slamdunc/Jim

Your boy is just one gorgeous hunk of GSD, nice pedigree too!

I didn't pull up the 7 generation, but I'll be there are some familiar names there judging by the bone on him.

PS.  I looked and lots of DDr favorties and Bernd Lierberg.  I would love to know who the missing data are.

Jim, truthfully I only know about 3 dogs in your dogs pedigree (Lord, Jeff and Pax). I'm not a a DDR person but as long as he's working out for you, that's all that matters. He's a very handsome dog. Thanks for the compliments on Baden.

Good luck in the future with him, I hope he serves you well.
