my 5 half month old long coat boys lower canine adult tooth is coming through and is out of alignment the vet has mentioned that he can be referred to a specialist and has stated letting him play with a hard ball slightly bigger than a tennis ball may help the tooth to straighten. does anyone know whether pups teeth can correct themselves, as he still has a lot of tooth to come through yet. we were hoping to do vpg trials with him..
any advice gratefully received.
thanks

If his bite was normal at 8 weeks chances are this is just a growing phase. Just wait and it will correct. Not uncommon growth pattern . Search the db on overbite and you will find previous threads.
Check to make sure the overbite is not damaging his palate.
