Yes, they are all kinds of working K9's on this site.  There are also various sport people, show line people and lots of happy dog owners.

***and police K-9 trainer/handlers with tons of experience*** ^^^^^^^^^^see above person for details

Do you have any topic in particular you would like to discuss? Or do you have any questions about police and their K-9 partners?

 Hello,

You might check with Hans Prager from this board. He is located in Arizona. His web site: www.AlpineK9.com  I think he might have what you are looking for in a male. He goes by "prager" on the database. Good luck.

I don't want to offend you but you should seriously reconsider breeding your bitch.  There are already plenty of unwanted dogs in the world without you adding to them when you clearly have no idea what you're doing.  You state in your ad that you want to breed her this spring or summer with a stud dog with OFA certification even while she won't be old enough by that time to have that certification herself.  I'm sure she's a great dog and you love her but even if she were old enough, her pedigree is all from American showlines and I doubt you're going to find any dogs of the caliber you describe whose owners would be interested in breeding to her.

You want to breed a REAL, proven, tough working dog to this female - http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/classifieds/93147.html ???

You have no idea what you are doing, I am saying this bluntly, but I am also trying to give friendly advice and not attack you. I am sure you like your female, but please think everything through real good.

prcabulrid,

Im gonna give you the benefit of the doubt here and give you a chance to explain what it is you want to accomplish.

What is the purpose of this litter?
What are ALL of the qualities you are looking for in this male ( both structural and mental) ???
What is your female pups pedigree/lineage?
What are her strongest attributes and faults(mental and structural)?
How do you feel this litter will improve upon the breed?

if you cant answer these questions in depth as well as many more noone i know will provide you with a sire. Nor should they. However if you would like some help with education on the topic there are some qualified individuals on this forum that would be willing to help im sure. However coming off wanting a big police dog as your only criteria isnt gonna cut it.

"What are ALL of the qualities you are looking for in this male ( both structural and mental) ???"

That he be a Police dog, silly.  Marketing (selling) pups to general public, well the ads sound great when you mention the sire to the litter is a badass police dog K-9 (Woof!!). Isn't it obvious?!? The ad and the original post screamed salesman. I would love to be wrong, and I would also love to see the answers to Yoshy's questions....particularly how such a proposed breeding would improve upon the breed. I'm holding my breath:)

I have reason to believe that the OP is fairly young and new to the breed.  Rather than berate him, perhaps we should try to educate?
