Who in there right mind would do that to either breed.Im also surprised the breeding was even real as that dog shows no signs of shepherd. It looks like a sheep dog.

Looks like a badly bred Briard!

Check out breeding register of german shepherds, the american white shepherds are a sight for sore eyes.

In Dr. Battaglia's recent email newsletter he touched that subject of mixed breeds, ie designer dogs.  Those breeders will try and make you believe that the crossing of the two will improve far above the health of the individual breeds.  However, the opposite is true, as I have long said.  What it does is give the progeny of those two breeds the bad genes of both breeds.   That type of breeder is too lazy to work on bettering the individual breed, because that IS work after all, and by doing this they are mudding the gene pool of the poor pups they produce.

Here that shepadoodle.  Look all dogs are cute to me, but a mutt is a mutt, whether you give it a name or not.  They will charge $1500 and up for these mutts which took NO work or investment.  Go to the pound, find something similar and save a dog instead.  Same crapshoot.

Hi Steve:

I guess my main reason for concern is with why ? with all the mutts in pounds why would you purposly make more?. And to what end was the breeding to create or improve I feel you acheve nothing but to weaken both breeds.
