We have our new puppy (Morgan's Echo of Airin) and she is linebred pretty heavy on the Noblecroft line.  I am curious about the line and haven't found much to go on other than what comes up in the data base ...not many pictures.  Any comment would be welcome and appreciated.

Thanks! Deb

Show dog?

Maybe this helps a little.   I study and learn, and breed the working line GSD's   Good luck,  Trish

Deb, the Noblecroft kennel is obviously an American show kennel. I thought I was fairly familiar with the American GSD's, but I"ve never heard of it before.

I'm afraid this board isn't a very good place to search for this info, as most of the posters here own German bred dogs, or at least dogs from 100% German lines, and many of them have very little that's good to say about the American line dogs.

However, there are a few American GSD breeders/former breeders here. Maybe they'll chime in.

Thanks for the info...

Trish, this is her sire's line!  There are a few germans on her mother's side but they are so far back it probably won't matter.  I found the owner of the Noblecroft Kennel and I am disappointed to say the least.  She refuses to be of any help since I did not buy from her.  Since we were looking for a companion and don't plan to show, I doubt I'll run across her.  I met her several years ago and passed on her litter then.  Didn't realize I was getting one of her dogs' decendents or may have passed on this litter too.  Oh well, live and learn.  We like our little lady so guess we'll just have to see what we end up with.  So far so good.  I put a puppy photo on her entry.  (See Morgan's Echo of Airin)  I'll update it as she grows.  We had a german girl but you wouldn't know it to know her.  Very sweet, non aggressive, on the small side.  Loved her to death. (See Airin vom Haus Acton)

Thanks again!

Deb

My dog has Noblecroft and Jerland Farms lines, is a pet, and I love him to death. Most folks think he is beautiful, but they are not the GSD elite. He is great with the kids, yet protective, quite smart, totally athletic-- loves to jump my garden fence, because it's fun, great ball drive, prey drive. Probably not great grips. He has an iris cyst in one eye, but it doesn't affect his vision. I know he has a good nose, but I'm not a tracker (and not an expert on anything!) But I know my dog, lol. Hope this helps.
