Can someone reccomend a dog attorney in California or is there one on the Board? You can PM me.

I need addendum  to a lease for rental property drawn up, to allow a dog.

1doggie2,

I know CA is famous for a lot of things the rest of the country does not have, or does not have in abundance. But I was not aware they might have an attorney who was a dog. Who knows...... LOL

I should think you would not need an attorney to make such a simple addition to any rental or lease agreement. In fact, there are many such agreements available simply by Googling "pet lease agreement" or "dog lease agreement". I bet you can find what you need without going to the expense of paying an attorney, or a dog for that matter......

Cheers.

Dogs are not allowed to take the California Bar exam. They can't pass the background check, due to lack of fingerprints. :-)

Pharaoh, if you find out please PM me, I am looking for a rental, I am moving out the beginning of Feb. I also need to know how to approach an owner about my dog. I know I will be upfront, and honest, but I dont know if I should be specific about his training.
