Imagine my suprise when I find that my dogs page has been deleted or removed by un-named party or parties, members of this database.

I hope this is only a glitch in the system but I feel it is not.  

If this is the malicious work of a fellow database member would you please find out and remove this person immediately!

This is rediculas!!  And other members have also been the target of this kind of sabotage.

All database members who do not think this kind of thing should be tolerated please chime in.

Who else has something to add?  Who else has trouble here?

The ups and downs of the message board mean nothing ,   But this tampering with pedigree's will be this sites downfall.

If we can't trust the data to be safe whats the use of the site?   There are a million message boards, but only one pedigreedatabase.

Consider the seriousness of this in dealing with the issue of security of your site.

I am also with you, it should not be tolerated, no way. What i would like to know is why someone would want to do such a thing,i can't see any possible reason for it. I can understand vile ,nasty comments being removed by OLLI, but not someones dog pedigree page, it is not on!!!!!!  liz

This database has gone downhill rapidly the past few months and I don't come on here nearly as much as I used too:(

There are too many trolls and Idiots for my liking its such a pity when a forum is ruined by the minority ...

It would be helpful to have the IP addresses under each persons user name.

Hope this is resolved soon as I love the PDB ....

TwoMoons is 100% correct, data entered has to be correct, so there for safe from some idiot who thinks it funny to muck up or delete pedigrees. He is right to feel pissed, i'm pissed and it's not even my dog's page, liz

I guess anyone can grab a new user name and come in here and do just about anything they please.

Hell I might give it a go myself !!  

Oli has been told about this many times, and when a nasty poster copied my avitar of myself and one of my dogs, and put it on his avitar, week before last, and left it there for three days, posted all over this base, It shows what kind of demonized people we have playing with our message board.    Powerhaus had her account messed with, others have had toilet,pics put on their pedigree,  nasty pics, names changed, and lots of things done to info submitted for information on this base.  Oli is well aware of it, but he does not read every post or thread and he has no one helping him, obviously.

WIll it stop. NO. The majority here do not want a moderator. So free speech will reign and the freedom to copy, paste and remove and destroy ones pics or pedigrees will continue..Just keep an eye on your info and either withdraw from the board or put up with it.

Its a public forum..ANything public can  be copied . Just consider the people doing it and remember who they are.

This has nothing to do with a moderator or the message board, it has to do with anyone having the ability to alter your dogs pedigree.  This was done once before and the quilty party was just a ghost, I have the name somewhere but nothing was done about it as far as I was ever informed by OLi.  

I expect everyone to be up in arms over this !!!  All of you !!!

Who's next?  Do any of you want to go thru this??
