Hello everyone
I have just read this messages about Ingodds Alberts bitework. I now think the messages is going between the two parts of the GSDs. The show line people and the training/schutzhund people. This we all have heard a lot of in several years.
I am the breeder of Albert and his litter brother Agassi and is the owner of Kennel Ingodd in Norway. Albert was sold as a 8 weeks puppy to a young lady who want to have a good show dog. Albert was living with her and family, a son of two year and two American Cocker Spaniels up in the north of Norway, - near the North Pole!! When Albert was about 1 year I was judging a show up in the north. I reconnised there that Albert was a true pet in the family, not talked to at all, only kissed and loved with. The dog loved that, but he also was a dog who wanted to work a lot, and really was a to much dog for his female owner. He was also in not so good condition. He had grown up very fast and was heavy and loose. One moth before he was x-rayted. The Vet had told the owner to wait some time to x-ray him because he was loose in his legs and not finised developed in his hips and bones. But the owner wanted to take the x-ray as fast as possible. Result: "Noch Zugellassen" on one hip, or is it called fair in OFA?? He is not x-rayted in Germany. After this show I took Albert back to my home and after a short time he was send to a very good trainer and friend of mine in Germany for education and training. In Germany Albert make a very good figure and loved to work. After about 8-10 month he had done his SchH3 with very good points: 100-90-92. The trainer told me that this was the best resulat he ever had done in SchH3. They two worked very good together. I have persuaded the owner to not take Albert back, and instead get a female puppy. Therefore Albert was for sale to a place that could take care of the best in him and also to a place there he have the oppertunity to be used in the breed, this because I was very convinced that he will be a very good producer. Kerry from kennel Sheerna in England wanted him to England, she wrote about this on this side about 1st November, but Julie from Kennel Mittelwest was the one who got him. As Kerry told in her message, was also the X-rays pictures from Albert taken that summer 2006, described from a Vet. in England to be Hip of Excellent quality. I also now that more dogs have been in this situation. "Noch Zugelassen" at first x-rating and normal one or two years later.
Everyone talk about Albert and Agassi as sons of Ghandi Arlett /Urus Batu bloodlines. I am very fun of this bloodlines because of the strong beautyful types and the strong character in this lines. It is importent to take care of this lines. But, I will also mention that the motherline have a very strong and safe character, dogs that want to work and also is dogs that can live in familys without any question. Both the mother of Albert/Agassi, Norwegian and Swedish Champion SchH1 Körklasse 1 Ingodds Nodessa and the grandmother Norwegian Champion SchH1 (Points: 94-92-94) Körklasse 1 Ingodds Hollis ,have produced more other top dogs from litters with other fathers.
Every male producer will also produce dogs with all kinds of faults. But take care of the good ones and build further up from them. Also consider that the breeders always tray to do what they think is the best to breed good dogs. To succeed is however difficult.

thank you very much for taking the time to share your very interesting thoughts with the rest of us concerning the history surrounding Albert. Although I do not know Julie Martinez personally, I have observed her and her children participating at all the shows I have attended and am here to say that they are truly a dog caring family so I am quite certain Albert is in the best of hands and care.
