Hmm, I think I'd kind of like the anser to the main topic of this post too. Is it not right to not OFA the parents when you breed?

If the dogs from YR last breeding are in the OFA database please post info. When I searched they were not listed on the OFA database. Also KittCat , YR never responded to my post last week.
Why does this forum delete my post regarding hip cert. on breeding stock? All the other crap is left up.
by bgstout on 09 December 2008 - 13:12
Why don't we delete the post about will my dog have a big head also? How about all the post with profanity unrelated to dogs?
God forbid we ask a breeder for proof of a hip evaluation that would be absurd.

The dogs in question are Theta and Rex. Triplh german shepherds bred in sept 08

bgstout,
You know the answer to your own questions; YR doesn't need to answer yours or anyone's questions, AND, even if you are correct,
1.) NO ONE CARES, because we like YR better than you.
2.) You clearly have an agenda, to make a vendetta against YR, and most here don't approve of your method using muckraker tactics.
Maybe you want to spell it out for us WHY you have it in for YR, or better yet, just give it a rest? Seems to me she's a kind-hearted Christian lady who breeds GSD's and does her best to find good homes for good dogs. If you're worrying about her being responsible for the destruction of the breed, I hope I can reassure you, that she is just not that powerful.
Have a merry, merry Christmas, please spread the JOY!

beetree,
Didn't know this was a popularity contest. I just asked a simple question and wanted an honest answear.
It's just dog breeding 101.
Beetree you make sure you have yourself a joyous and very wonderful holiday season, ok hon?
by beetree on 09 December 2008 - 15:12
bgstout,
GSD breeding 101, in a perfect world, yes? Fact is there is only a voluntary compulsion to certify hips in the country where YR abides. So, really what else is bugging you about YR, really?
And thanks for the holiday message of cheer, it is contagious when spread liberally!

bgstout,
Are you asking because you are interested in a pup from a breeding of one of these dogs? If so may I suggest that you ask the breeder directly (and privately)? Seems to me the OFA information has been provided here and in a previous post. As far as I know there is no requirement for certification to be posted. As many have pointed out you appear to be calling YR out....what is it you are really after?
