A few months back, someone (I think it may have been preston) posted a dead gorgeoud, V rated bi color male. I beleive he was a work/show cross but may have been a soley working line dog. The dog also had BSP accomplishments. (I think) This dog is very dark, with a topline to die for. I can't for the life of me remember his name and I can't find the thread. I had bookmarked the page but reformatted my computer since. Anyone?

No, the male I'm thinking of is a bi-color. This is making me nuts!
EDIT: found him, the thread was of course right in front of my face. www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/445210.html

Not sure why you think the dog is dead. He is standing at stud at Peter Krüger's kennel in Germany.

I think she meant to say "dead gorgeous"! lol Just a wee typo.

Yes it was, thank you. I used past tense also because I was referring to past references made regarding him. I have a friend who has a working bitch in Germany being titled and possibly bred who could stand to have structure improved, I thought I'd show him a few nice V working males.

Whooooaaa, KC. Now HE is handsome to say the LEAST! WOW!
I don't really see the show/working combo breeding in him, but that red pigment in the bicolor marking---[sigh] And I love seeing a pedigree with V-rated solid blacks in it, too. Not too awful common.
Wonder what a pair-up between him and my Buszke would produce? Isn't it fun to DREAM?
I personally am not one to like sable (no offense to any who like/love it). With that said, I can look at the pics of the sable Dasty vom Gries-that pigment, and sigh-I wouldn't hesitate to own a sable with that type of rich underlying pigment. He's gorgeous, even if he is a sable.
Thanks for sharing it, KC. Wow!
