Hi Aristian

They are very good pics and illustrate the effect that some aspects of your bitches conformation have on her movement very well.  However, since explaining this any further would involve some criticism, are you sure you want me to do this and can you take it in the spirit it will be meant?

   aritianM,

I am not here to tell you anything about the gait of your dog, or any dog for that matter. I just see you as someone trying very hard with your dog. I like that. And the fact that you keep at it, no matter how much "flack" you take, to me is impressive. I wish you ALL THE BEST with your efforts and your dog. I really hope you get where you want to go with her, or at least have fun trying!

This is my boy Duke, just parading his firewood around the yard. He makes like he's coming to help me, but he is just in it for the fun of it.        This is just his 'prancer walk' as he's showing off.

You seem to be like the old Timex Watches, "you take a lickin, and keep on tickin", keep it up!!!

Yup Kaffirdog go ahead. I am always willing to learn from polite people like you.

Thank you Kitkat3478. Btw your boy Duke is beautiful!

What is wrong with his back? Is this what they mean when they are talking about a roach back? Is that much curve/arc/hump ok? Or does it look that way due to the angle of the photo and timing of the photo? Very interesting! I hope some "Pro's" enlighten us with a good critique.....

Shes slightly over built in the topline. I hope that answers your query. No where near the roach backs seen in some dogs.

Have to say Artisan you have been ivolved in some silly debates on this DB with others, however as kitkat already pointed out you have your prorities on the button I see nothing wrong with your girls movement looks good and her colour is super best of luck with her and keep up the hard work..... it will pay off .

PS: ( Roachback I think not! )

To me she looks as though she falls on the forehand and in these photos she does not appear to have sufficient rear propulsion. Head carriage could be a bit better but her front reach looks nice. Very short croup but looks be well laid. Hopefully in time she will develop more in the chest, her brisket looks rather shallow.  I don't care at all for the curl of her tail in the last photo but she does not appear to display it in the other pictures. Good color.  Best of luck obtaining her working titles.

Thank you Bagsd, KCzaja, Wuzzup, Kitkat and Kaffirdog for taking out the time and replying.

One more question how do you deepen the chest? I heard weight pulling is good.
