With a puppy's mouth at what age should you be able to tell if it will be correct. I always thought that if the mouth looked correct at about 6 - 8 weeks and then it went off it would usually end up correct. Am I wrong?
The reason I am asking is because I sold a pet puppy at 8 weeks and the mouth was correct but at 6 months it is overshot, I believe that it still has time to come good. I haven't had to deal with this before.

I don't know too much on this subject. All I can say is that the mouth goes thru a growing spert just like their whole body. I believe it still has time to change at 6 months old, but don't quote me on it. From what I read before on here is to give them hard things to chew on, like knuckle bones, etc to help with the overshot. You can always do a search on here to find the other post's that do talk about the overshot. I've personally never had to deal with this either.

Same here,
There is so much growing going on and change's in structure. I have no practical experience in this area either, I can only guess. Give it some time.
If there is a real problem you may want to re-think your breeding choice's.
Sold as a pet usually means do not breed.
Give it some time.
