 This is the dog that is "teaching me",the FUN, aspects of Dog Sport. He is getting real good with tracking, and his Obedience is coming along quite nice too. I think he is enjoying the Protection part a little bit to much. His tugging and Bite Work are still a little bit TOOO intermingled.                       He is a"VERY STRONG" dog. He is just over 1 1/2 Years old. He's got so much pup left in him, that everything is just fun and games to him. He really is a nice, nice dog. It is with him, that I might just beat some of you on the field one day.(A "goal" worth training for!)( That really is supposed to be humorous)

 He is a nice looking dog. When i,m on the trial field there is only one thing for me to compete against and that is the last score in my book. have fun with him.

 Looks like a nice, happy dog.  Have a great time with him.  Schutzhund can be very rewarding.  But, it is also a humbling sport--also a good thing sometimes!

Is that a recent phoot?   Are you already training with that much snow where you are?   Yikes!!

Thanks for the compliments;

          I just took the pic of him this morning. Believe it or not, that's just a little bit of snow compared to what I've had.              I I would say, to me it is training, to him, it's just fun. Like I've said, I am new to sch.,so we are learning togeather. I guess I'm cheating tracking in the snow, but for beginners, we are getting the desired result.

     I try not to go to far out on a limb with him, when not with the trainer, as I don't want to have to undue things I've done wrong. And I'm sure I'll do plenty.But I have  a pretty good idea as to what I'm doing. The obedience is got to be a constant whether there is snow or not, that goes without saying. We have been building up on endurance, and his drive is something you all would think I was kidding if I told you. This dog is,"Let's Get Out There AND DO IT"

     When we are heading out for training, it's as if he already knows where he's heading. I put his Big Working Collar on when we are doing anything serious,(training). It's like he loves to see that collar come out, and I havn't even had the collar to long.   So, where someone said it takes many to train a dog, to that I say, 'all advice and suggestions,"ARE WELCOME".

     And really,it is just in fun that I say I might just beat you on the field.

Nothing wrong with tracking in the snow as long as you age the track 20 min. or so so the scent cone deteriorates and you don't teach the dog to air scent/track with a high nose. (Read: big points go bye-bye)  If you lose your corners in snow, its 'way back to the drawing board. Don't tell a soul. Ha ha ha
