I went to visit a friend in North Carolina over the holidays that had a American line German Shepherd from Rabon kennel in N.C. The dog had very nice conformation and extremely nice temperament. Was wondering if anybody knows of this kennel as I can not find any information about the kennel.

Gustav, There's a Meghan Rabon on the "Leerburg's main webiste"... might be worth asking her?  The topic is, "Florida German Shepherds".

Thanks Missbeeb, I will pursue this from that angle, curious as to his lines as he is moderately angulated , superb temperament, and very nice structure. He is obviously american showlines as he has way too much white on him for my taste but he looks alot like Cobert's Reno from past years who also had good temperament and was more moderate.

What does having too much white have to do with the dog being american or german?

It is typical of some American showlines and it is almost never associated with German dogs. That's not to say a German dog won't have a spot or two on the chest or toes, but this dog has extensive white although it is a black and tan saddle. When I find the lines I am sure it will be American showlines, as I am familar with this type of dog.
