invited representatives from
The German Shepherd Dog League,
The British Association of German Shepherd Dogs
 and
The German Shepherd Dog Breed Council 
to attend a meeting at The Kennel Club
on Thursday 20th. November

Or, with sufficient goodwill by all, get bogged down in hair-splitting definitional issues.

Good news David; but surely the alarm bells should be ringing when the Kennel Club is unwilling to discuss a particular item, and then wants to re write the Breed Standard??? " Jobe's comforter " I'm not, but for Gods sake if we set out an Agenda, then the least we should be able to expect is for all parties to stick to it.

It's a great pity, but no surprise that our KC is only interested in how things appear (to Jo Public) not in how they are!

My MP was quite effective, so I urge you all to write to your local MP regarding the KC's unwillingness to support "us" in trying to rid our breed of major health issues!

They can and do ignore our letters, but they have to reply to a Member of Parliament.  I am going to write once again to my MP with a copy of the above because it kind of counteracts the BS they gave him in their last letter!
